Writing

Picture
Pencil Grip At St Luke's we work a lot on holding the pencil correctly if physically possible, but to do that we have to work on fine motor skills and muscle memory.  So if children can be given fun activities which involve manipulating small items this will go along way to developing their writing skills. Use puzzles, lego, get them to screw bottle tops on and off, anything that will give that pincer grip we need to hold a pencil.

.Here are some videos to show things that can be used to improve fine motor skills
